Weekend Getaway Survival Kit ✈️🧳

Weekend Getaway Survival Kit ✈️🧳

Artem and I LOVE a good weekend trip.

We joke all the time about having to leave the house on the weekends or else we may clean out a closet or something—and who wants to do that?

Now that Charlie is older, our trips vary from ball games to concerts, visits to the “dino museum” (aka The Museum of Natural History 🦕), and quick day trips to Lake Charles or Lafayette.

Near or far, I have perfected the art of the go-bag—essentials that make getting out of the house and on the road that much simpler.

👜 Louenhide Crossbody Slings

I personally have the Halsey sling in Frappe. It stays in my car and I can easily move my essentials (wallet, sunglasses, and lip gloss) into it from my “big purse.” It’s one of those grab-and-go lifesavers I rely on constantly.

🕶️ Peepers Sunglasses

Speaking of sunglasses—Peepers are a no-brainer for life on the go. Especially with small children who may or may not want to grab them! They’re double-hinged (much harder to break), polarized like your favorite designer shades, and so affordable. Keep a pair in your go bag and another in your car! 😎

🌸 Glasshouse Travel Perfume

I’m currently wearing Sunsets in Capri because I love it for summer! I also have a travel-size Melbourne Muse. These are perfect for travel because they’re small, easy to pack, and so strong—you only need a little. Instant upgrade for your hotel room or road trip pit stop! 🚗💨

💧 Brümate Cups – 40oz & Kid Sizes

cup that locks is the ultimate travel hack. Throw it in a bag, backpack, or (Artem, stop reading here) your floorboard when you run out of cup holders! 😂 Leak-proof and big enough to keep you hydrated from Point A to Point B. We also keep a few of the kids' Brümates handy for Charlie. 💙

💍 Beau Travel Jewelry Case

Once, when I was in high school, we were all packing for a family trip. We were flying, so of course all the luggage had to be weighed. My suitcase was over the limit, and it was time to start making some serious decisions about what really needed to make the trip!

The first thing I thought of was my jewelry, and out of curiosity, I decided to weigh my jewelry bag. It was seven pounds! 😅 I learned from an early age that sometimes you just have to force yourself to use a smaller bag. These travel cases keep my jewelry habit in check! They protect the things that make the cut and help me stay organized—without tipping the scale. 💼✨
